FAR - Fabbrica Artigianale Reti
It was founded in 1940 in Sulzano by Ribola Battista, expert producer of fishing nets, who came form Montisola, a little treasure of Iseo’s Lake, famous since the old times for the ability of his nets producers. Battista transferred his passion and his knowledge to his children Mario, Giuseppina, Franca and Luigi, who, in 1979, held the reins of the Company and formed FAR Snc Fabbrica Artigianale Reti. The Company, during the years, went on growing and expanding itself: in 1997 it moved to the new and bigger plant in Provaglio d’Iseo, in the heart of Franciacorta land and, in 2005, it became FAR Srl.
New technologies and machines of new generations make Far Srl one of the most important Companies specialized in the production of a wide range of nets. However, the Ribola Family does not forget the old traditions so, at the industrial production, it continues to place side by side the old ability of the artisan that permits at the Company to offer high quality products and products made on size.
The company today
The strong familiar identity of FAR Srl didn’t impede the developing of the Company, even better, it was the engine of the expansion of it and today it extends on an area of 8000 m², with an internal labour force of 40 people among partners, employers and specialized technicians.
The Company always invests in the Research and Development Department, also for the sector of children playgrounds where our technicians created the NEST BABY: a new swing seat studied for children entertainment and safety, a unique product, certified by Far srl according to the regulations UNI-EN 1176-1 and UNI-EN 1176-2.
Mission
An ambitious mission is the one declared by FAR Srl, it indicates a continuous engagement and the resolutely of Ribola Family. Starting from a thorough analysis of the market, the Company aims to improve itself and his production, studying new products able to satisfy the different needs of his costumers, especially for the safety factor pointing out his attention to safety nets for building trade and ski runs, without neglecting the pre-existing range of products.
The other challenge for the future of Far Srl is extend his business into new markets and bring the Made in Italy factor all over the world.
