Polyester Nets (PES)
Polyester (acronym PES) is a polymer that contains ester functional groups in its main chain. Polyester is derived from oil or natural gas and can be recycled or biodegraded.
It is a rather elastic material, with high resistance to abrasion and tearing, is water-repellent, provides the nets produced with good thermal insulation and can be washed many times without changes in size or shrinkage.
Compared to fabrics made of natural fibres, this synthetic fibre resists very well even when exposed to heat and sunlight for long periods. Nets made of polyester fibres offer high resistance to tearing and abrasion, can be washed several times without stretching, shrinking or unravelling, and also have the advantage of drying very quickly, thanks to their moisture-wicking capabilities.
