Polypropylene Nets (PP)
Polypropylene (acronym PP) is a thermoplastic polymer.
Polypropylene has high chemical resistance characteristics and is normally used at temperatures between +5 °C and +90 °C.
Due to its non-polarity characteristics, PP is very resistant from a chemical point of view: up to 120° C it retains its resistance characteristics in the presence of aqueous solutions containing salts, strong acids and alkalis. Compared to engineering polymers, it has low mechanical resistance: tensile, flexural, compressive, abrasion, etc. Compared to polyethylene it is less impact resistant.
The polypropylene used for our nets is highly UV-resistant thanks to the inclusion of additives and is an ideal material for outdoor and indoor nets, good resistance to low temperatures and cold.
